If switching from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant, there may be a transitional period of up to 2-4 weeks where you may notice more sweat or odor. During this time, underarm pores are unclogging and detoxing from the sweat blocking ingredients found in antiperspirants. Try a clay mask or charcoal scrub on armpits to speed up this detoxing process. Eventually, the body will readjust to its natural ability to sweat, but not stink with the help of the odor fighting and moisture absorbing properties of natural deodorant.
